AGC, Lionsgate and Night Train Drama Series ‘Gray’ Goes into Production – Deadline

Rupert Everett to star in AGC Television, Lionsgate Television and Night Train Media spy drama Grey, which has entered production in Toronto, as the series rounds out key cast. Check out a first-look photo of protagonists Lydia West and Patricia Clarkson above.

The TV arm of AGC Studios is producing, with Lionsgate, whose participation was previously announced, and the co-financing of Night Train. Lionsgate Television International will buy the show internationally in partnership with Germany-based Herbert L. Kloiber’s Night Train. AGC Studios will distribute in the United States, represented by CAA.

The show stars Clarkson as CIA spy Cornelia Gray, who returns from the cold after 20 years in hiding and uncovers a new mole within her old spy ring. Lydia West (It’s a sin) co-stars.

Everett (The wedding of my best friend), Wendy Crewson (Pretty tough cases) and Shawn Doyle (Star Trek: Discovery) also have roles, with Tim Rozon (Wynonna Earp, Schitt’s Creek), Jamal Grant (chucky,The extent) and Benjamin Sutherland ( Billy the kid,The kings ofNapa) announced today to complete the key cast.

John McLaughlin (Black Swan) written, based on an idea by author David Baldacci.

Executive producers are Stuart Ford and Lourdes Diaz from AGC, Clarkson, McLaughlin, Baldacci, director Ruba Nadda, Marc Shmuger, Agapy Kapouranis from Lionsgate and Elliott Brannon and Kloiber from Night Train.
