Amit Tandon is writing the script for an OTT comedy-drama

Bombay: Comedy artist Amit Tandon, who regularly appears on the TV show “Goodnight India” as a host, is writing the script for a web series after completing the script for his feature film.

The as yet untitled comedy-drama series is based in Delhi on real estate scams.

Commenting on the development, Amit said writing comes naturally to comedians.

He said, “I think comedians are inherent writers as well. With so many creative ideas and thoughts flowing freely through our minds throughout the day, we all have the potential to crack one of these and work on the scripts for full-fledged entertainment end products. like movies and web shows.”

“Having said that, I recently finished working on the script for a potential feature film and came up with another idea that was more suited to a longer format like a webcast, so without wasting any more time, I decided to write this I think the foray into writing comes naturally to me because I’ve always written my own jokes, acts and skits about every little performance, collaboration on a TV show or of course, television specials. stand-up,” he mentioned.

Amit believes content is best executed by him if he was the sole source of it himself.

“I look forward to converting both these ideas and scripts that I have worked so fondly on into entertainment products worthy of the love and appreciation of audiences,” the comedian concluded.
