Apple TV+ has released an official trailer for “WeCrashed,” an upcoming drama series chronicling the rise and fall of WeWork coming to the streaming platform in March.

In the minute-long trailer, viewers are introduced to WeWork co-founder Adam Neumann, played by Jared Leto, and his wife Rebekah, played by Anne Hathaway.

“WeCrashed” is based on Wondery’s podcast of the same name. It is inspired by real events surrounding WeWork, a startup valued at $50 billion at its peak but which quickly fell out of favor. Filming for the series began in July 2021, months after Apple signed a deal for the series in January 2021.

“WeCrashed” was created by “Little America” co-creator Lee Eisenberg. Eisenberg will also serve as show runner, while John Requa and Glenn Ficarra will direct the series. All four will produce it alongside Charlie Gogolak, Natalie Sandy, Leto, Hathaway and Emma Ludbrook.

The eight-part limited series will debut on March 18 alongside Apple TV+’s 2022 content slate, including “The Afterparty,” “Severance,” and “Suspicion.”
