In order to keep the suspense alive, Polatin even created his own fictional cult for the show. “Me and my room of writers have studied all the sects. We tried to learn as much as possible about as many organizations as possible and then created our own cult using elements from many different groups,” she shares. “We developed our whole ideology – and we even wrote part of the Book of Covenants, the cult Bible [in the show].” Sam Jaeger, Alisha Newton, Naomi Tan, Gerardo Celasco, Bradley Stryker, Stacey Farber, Tahmoh Penikett, Keenan Tracey and more also join Polatin’s thriller.
