ITV drama The Tower will return for a second season

ITV Police Procedure Tower is officially back for a second season.

After airing last fall, its three-part opener holds a stellar 100% rating on rotten tomatoesit is therefore not surprising to hear about this renewal.

Gemma Whelan will reprise her role as DS Sarah Collins alongside Tahirah Sharif, Emmett J Scanlan and Jimmy Akingbola’s respective officers.

Title Tower II: Message of Deaththe action kicks off with Lizzie Adama [Sharif] returning to Farlow Station, where her boss and ex-lover DI Kieran Shaw [Scanlan] binds it with Arif Johar [Michael Karim].

Their first assignment is a domestic violence complaint; To mark [Charley Palmer Rothwell] is accused of hitting on his girlfriend Georgina [Rosa Coduri] and terrorizing their daughter Skye.
