Live-action drama returns to UVA this summer at the Virginia Theater Festival

The Virginia Theater Festival is supported by UVA College and the Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, UVA’s Office of Provost and Vice Provost for Arts, UVA’s Department of Drama and Arts.

“We look forward to what Artistic Director Jenny Wales and her team have in store for us with the Virginia Theater Festival,” said Jody Kielbasa, AVU Vice Provost for the Arts, “as they build an exciting and continue to be an important pillar among the wide range of dynamic offerings that make up the arts at UVA.

The theater festival is also launching a new membership campaign, which offers customers advance purchase of individual tickets a week before public sales.

Ticket prices start at $15 and vary by seating section, with discounts available for students and groups of 20 or more. Otherwise, individual tickets will go on sale to the public on June 21 and will be available at the UVA Arts box office in the UVA Drama building on Culbreth Road, on line or by phone at 434-924-3376.
