Renewed or canceled – will there be a season 2 of Eve (K-Drama)?

This article explains whether there will be a season 2 of the K-Drama series Eve and its renewed or canceled status.

What was season 1 about?

South Korean drama series Standby has a sensational premise. It follows the story of the impact of a two trillion won (about $1.7 billion) divorce lawsuit that shook the nation to its core.

Standby brings three main characters – Lee Ra El, a wife of both an awesome father and a stepmother, but unfortunately, due to a strange upbringing due to a family affair, she turns into a dangerous woman , but with charm. She is compared to a “dangerous flower”. Lee Ra El is at the center of the shocking divorce trial.

And then we have Seo Eun Pyung, a human rights lawyer who falls in love when he meets Lee Ra El.

And finally, Han So Ra, the daughter of a powerful politician named Han Ran Po, married into the chaebol family of the LJ group. While looking confident on the outside, deep down she is obsessed and insecure about looking young.

As you can tell from the premise, Eve was a juicy story, as it heralded the return of Seo Yea-ji (It’s okay not to be well).

Will there be a season 2 of the K-Drama series Standby – renewed or canceled status

Status: not renewed/to be confirmed

At the time of writing this article, Standby was not renewed for a second season. However, it is not uncommon for the industry to wait until it makes a decision on renewal. As we know, most K-Dramas tend to enjoy a single-season story and conclude conclusively before the finale. So, once we see the conclusion, we can feel what the authors have in mind. However, this does not mean that it will not be renewed. While the K-Drama industry tends to appreciate single-season stories, the trend for second and third seasons has increased over the past 12 months (see hospital reading list and Love (ft. Marriage and Divorce).

Standby was well received by audiences and critics. K-Drama has also topped the charts for the past few weeks with, topping the charts and percentages. So, it’s clear that fans will want a second season. Will they get one? We’ll have to wait and find out, but we’re still expecting disappointment when it comes to K-Drama, especially because renewals are so rare.
