Ride: Hallmark Channel Orders Rodeo Family Drama Series For 2023 – Canceled + Renewed TV Shows

Stroll arrives on Hallmark Channel in 2023. The cable channel has ordered the new drama series which will revolve around a multi-generational family struggling to keep their ranch afloat. Filming is expected to begin this summer, but the cast has yet to be revealed.

“Hallmark Channel has spotlighted “Ride,” an all-new primetime original series set to begin production this summer in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The series will premiere on Hallmark Channel in 2023 and is co-produced by Blink49 Studios and Seven24 Films, backed by Endeavor Content, in partnership with Bell Media for CTV Drama Channel in Canada. The series is based on an original script by husband-and-wife writing team Rebecca Boss and Chris Masi (“Our Kind of People,” “Step Up: High Water,” “Star”), who along with Sherri Cooper-Landsman (“Beauty and the Beast,” “Brothers & Sisters”) are showrunners and executive producers.

“Ride” is a multi-generational family set that follows the lives of the Murrays, part of a rodeo dynasty stretching back a generation, as they struggle to keep their beloved ranch afloat. After a tragic loss, each character embarks on an empowering journey of transformation and self-discovery while uncovering a twisted web of secrets, threatening to tear the family and their small Colorado town apart. Emotions run high and clashes are common in Murray’s complicated clan, but it’s a tight-knit group that doesn’t give up easily. And the three strong women in the family – widowed rodeo queen Missy, matriarch Isabel and former teenage runaway Valeria – resolve to withstand any challenge and save their land no matter what.

Paolo Barzman (“Wynonna Earp,” “Lost Girl”) will direct and executive produce. Blink49 Studios will handle the international distribution of the series.
