Malayalam actor Dulquer Salmaan is close to Telugu audiences with his number of Telugu dubbed movies and Telugu direct movies
in which he took on the role of legendary actress Savithri’s husband, Gemini Ganesan. Dulquer, who always chooses subjects with depth and history, has now come up with a periodic romance drama titled Sita Ramam.
Sita Ramam was released worldwide in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam on August 5. The film stars Mrunal Thakur as Sita, the love interest of Ram, a lieutenant in the Indian army. Actress Rashmika Mandanna plays the role of Afreen, an enthusiast who comes to pick up Sita and Ram from another time. The music for the film, which was released recently, was composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar and received rave reviews.
A few enthusiastic cinephiles who had the chance to see the film a few hours earlier than the others, were eager to share their opinion on
and so, took to Twitter to tell the whole story. Check out some of the tweets on
#SitaRamam All in all a pretty good poetic love story that works for the most part 👍
The visuals and technical values are top notch. DQ did well and Mrunal completely steals the show.
On the downside, the pacing and length feels tedious in places and could be sharper.
Classic romantic drama😇
