The Show Goes On For Fast-Growing Drama Series “The Black Door”

Black Brain Pictures has denied social media rumors of the steamy drama series being canceled The Black Gate.

The drama was launched in April this year.

The production house’s director, Mandla N, told Sunday World on Wednesday that the widely shared messages on social media were not true.

“The show is not canceled, it is growing significantly in terms of numbers and it is the fastest growing drama series on,” said Mandla N.

“It’s just rumors and fake news circulating on social media, but viewers shouldn’t worry. People love it, we will definitely be back for season two.

Black Brain Pictures executive director Mpumelelo Nhlapho said the show was in a good space and had grown significantly.

“It’s the fastest growing [and it is] breaking records and gaining new audiences every day. We are excited about the big storylines to come,” Nhlapho said.

A few weeks ago, Black Brain Pictures said its hit telenovela Mzansi Magic City of Diep was canned after the chain failed to renew its contract. City of Diepwhich has been on the air for two years, has also attracted a huge following.

Meanwhile, Mandla N has shared that the production house will host its SA Film and Television Awards nominees at the Walter Sisulu Botanical Garden in Roodepoort on Saturday.
